About Me
My name is Suhani Sharma, and I have lived in Chandigarh for almost my whole life. I see myself as an enterprising person who wants to live and explore life to its full potential.

I find working for society and the betterment of others extremely rewarding. My journey began when I was twelve. I used to accompany and assist my elder sister in the door-to-door solid waste segregation campaign in the Kharar and Mohali regions. Together, we created awareness and encouraged public participation to change social mindsets. I've also produced award-winning YouTube videos on sustainable living and the green practices I follow. I also conducted weekly tutoring sessions for underprivileged kids, which was a profoundly fulfilling experience.

Academics have always been my strong suit. I have consistently excelled since childhood, scoring 99% in my Grade 10 CBSE Examinations and topping the Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM), India's largest science talent search competition. My passion for physics and chemistry runs deep -I love immersing myself in complex concepts, experimenting hands-on, and applying my learning to everyday life.
Beyond academics, I have a diverse set of interests. As a national-level debater, I've represented my school and earned accolades, sharpening my critical thinking and public speaking skills. Sports have also played a crucial role in shaping my character. I won the Chandigarh State Squash Title in 2021 and was honored to lead the Chandigarh Squash team in the 36th and 37th National Games. I am proud to be one of the top female squash players in Chandigarh.

Cubing is another passion of mine. In 2022, I broke the 4x4 National Record and was titled the 'Fastest Female Cuber' in 2023. Both squash and cubing have instilled discipline, determination, and perseverance in me.

To unwind, I enjoy journaling and playing musical instruments - the piano and the tabla. I've performed live on several occasions, and my articles have been published in notable outlets, including Science Reporter and Down to Earth. One of my essays was even featured by the UNESCO Digital Library. I'm always looking to learn something new and constantly improving toward becoming a well-rounded individual, ready to take on the world.
