My Team 'Kachra Kult' Triumphs in National-level Sustainability Accelerator Program 2023

Declared as the winner of the National-level CBSE's Sustainability Accelerator Program 2023, I

won an opportunity to be a part of a 5-day field internship at Bengaluru (4th-9th Nov) organised by Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited (ABFRL) in partnership with, the UN-affiliated NGO 1M1B. Ten winners were declared from each program cohort amongst the 6000 students from over 1200 schools nationwide. As a result, the Bengaluru internship had 20 participants. Here, the students, divided into four teams, each with a Sustainability theme, interacted with industry experts, went on village visits, Factory and Corporate office visits of ABFRL and learnt hands-on Needs Assessment, Sustainable Practices and Prototype Applications.

My five-member team, 'Kachra Kult' as we called themselves, had carried out our field activities focusing on solid waste management, submitted reports, designed social media posts and so on. In the results recently declared, we are proud to share that our team has been announced as the winning team.
