Role of Sustainability Doers – You can do it too!

The Government College of Education, Sector 20, Chandigarh extended an invitation to my school, requesting my participation as a resource person and young Sustainability Ambassador for their 7-day NSS Camp. During the session, I shared my narrative on "Role of Sustainability Doers – You can do it too!" It was a fulfilling experience addressing the aspiring teachers enrolled in the BeD program. I took the opportunity to inspire them to become active participants in sustainable initiatives.

I was pleased to motivate the attendees to collaborate with me by volunteering as mentors for the Sustainability Leaders Program, and I received a positive response. I express my gratitude to Dr. Sapna Nanda, the College Principal, and Dr. Ravneet Chawla, the NSS Program Coordinator, for inviting me to be part of this enriching session.

The experience at the NSS Camp has fuelled my enthusiasm to reach out further. Subsequently, I am planning to approach and correspond with the Project Director of Solid Waste Management in the State of Punjab and the Education Department of UT Chandigarh. My aim is to expand the outreach of my program and involve more schools in the city. I am hopeful that this initiative will contribute positively to the broader community.
